Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor is releasing a documentary, titled In Search of Darkness, which “explores the development and lasting impact of the horror film genre during the 1980s, and features interviews with numerous horror icons both from that decade and from the modern era, along with popular horror influencers.”
Taylor, who grew up during the ’80s, takes a deep dive into some of his favorite horror moments and investigates the key elements that made them uniquely memorable.
With over 45 contributors, the documentary also features horror icons such as renowned horror director, John Carpenter, A Nightmare on Elm Street actress Heather Langenkamp and Hellraiser actor Doug Bradley.
The film is slated to be released on October 13 and an exclusive, Corey-Taylor edition of the film is also available for pre-order now, featuring exclusive collectibles and artwork by ’80s horror artist, Graham Humphreys.
