Stacey Dooley has taken to her Instagram stories to discuss her beau Kevin Clifton being axed from Strictly Come Dancing alongside partner Anneka Rice.
The red-haired presenter, 32, who found love with Kevin, 36, on last years Stictly and then later went on to win the show with him, told how 61-year-old TV icon Anneka "was lucky to be with Kevin" as he is "the most incredible teacher."
Speaking to her social media fans, documentary host Stacey also added how it is easy to praise people when they are doing well but it is also important to champion them when they have knockbacks.
She began her social media statement with: "Kev and Anneka got knocked out this weekend and I just want to say I am so proud of both of them and especially Kevin because I just think he is the most incredible teacher."
Talking about Anneka, she added: "I think she was lucky to be with him."
Stacey continued: "She did that beautiful waltz, its very easy to be proud of someone when you are winning and flying high and its all going brilliantly but its also very important to tell them they are wicked when they get knocked out..so yes..well done!"
On Sunday night's results show Anneka and Kevin became the second couple to leave the show.
The TV legend found herself in the dreaded dance-off against David James and his partner Nadiya Bychkova.
Both pairings were tasked with performing for a second time, as their fates remained in the hands of the judges.
Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli and new judge Motsi Mabuse then had to reveal the couple they wished to save, and the vote was unanimous.
This is the earliest last year's champion Kevin has left the series, with him having been in almost every final since he joined the show.
