Stacey Solomon ‘relaxed and natural’ as she makes her Loose Women return

Stacey Solomon delighted fans as she made her return to the Loose Women panel after being on maternity leave.

The 32 year old, who brought her adorable daughter Rose along with her for her first day back on the popular ITV show, took time off after giving birth in October.

As she was welcomed back to our screens, body language expert Derek Heron has told OK! that Stacey appeared “relaxed” and “natural” as she eased herself back in.

“Stacey’s baseline body language reveals a relaxed smile,” Derek explained.

“Stacey is usually quite animated when she talks. At the start of Loose Women when Stacey first appeared, she was a little nervous.

"Her posture and actions were rigid/stiff, indicating nerves. And her smile was a little unnatural/forced.”

However, once Stacey brought on baby Rose, Derek says she displayed more signs of her “normal” body language.

“After the first 5 minutes when Stacey started to chat about Rose, she began to relax a little and she became more animated as she spoke. Stacey was slowly starting to display her normal body posturing and animated chat,” he said.

He continued: “Later, as Stacey spoke about having a girl after three boys her smile was natural, her hand and arm gestures were fluid and natural and Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon was back.”

While the TV presenter was all smiles, Derek admits there were moments where she showed “signs of fatigue”.

He said: “Stacey is showing signs of fatigue. I think recently giving birth and looking after a large family is taking its toll on Stacey.

“When the heat was off Stacey she was conserving energy during the show and was a little less engaged and reactive than the other presenters.

"This was apparent throughout but especially when Judi Love recounted her hilarious experience of falling over.

"Stacey held onto her coffee mug and was a little less responsive compared to the other presenters who were in hysterics.”

He added: “In summary, Stacey put on a good performance and held up well. She had a slightly apprehensive start to the show but quickly settled back into the swing of things. She’s tired and her energy levels are nowhere near back to normal.”

Stacey is mum to Rose with fiancé Joe Swash. She also shares two year old son Rex with Joe, 40, and is mum to Leighton, nine, and Zachary, 13, from previous relationships
