Strictly Come Dancing viewers couldn't believe their eyes when they spotted Hollywood actress Famke Janssen in the front row on Saturday night.
The X-Men star was seen clapping and smiling in the live studio audience as the eight remaining couples battled it out for a place in Blackpool.
Eagle-eyed fans instantly were amazed to see Famke, 55, sitting beside former Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh , 37, and rushed to Twitter to comment on the film star's presence.
While it is not known why Famke attended the show, fans speculated she could be in the UK filming series two of The Capture, while others are convinced she's simply a big fan of Strictly.
One user posted: "I could have sworn I spotted the divine Famke Janssen watching the equally divine Michelle Visage."
Another fan questioned: "Spotted Famke Janssen in the Strictly audience. Does that mean series 2 of The Capture is currently filming here?
While a third was sceptical of the star's appearance: "Is that Famke Janssen in the audience?"
The actress was spotted when Drag Race star Michelle Visage and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice performed the American Smooth to I Just Want To Make Love To You by Etta James.
Famke clapped enthusiastically and joined the rest of the audience in giving Michelle a well-deserved standing ovation.
Last night's front row seats appeared to be filled with a dazzling celebrity line-up as Emmerdale star Amy Walsh and Toby-Alexander Smith, Clair Norris and Lorraine Stanley from EastEnders were also spotted.
Meanwhile one sharp-eyed fan noticed the famous guestlist.
They tweeted: " So we have Karen, Bernie and Gray from EastEnders, Tracy from Emmerdale, Kimberley Walsh and ummm…. FAMKE JANSSEN!? What a lineup."
Famke most recently starred in BBC drama series The Capture.
The thriller explored the concept of fake news and examined the powers of Britain’s intelligence services.
She played Jessica Mallory, the boss of Ron Perlman’s character Frank.
All six episodes were an hour long and are available to watch on BBC iPlayer .
The Dutch actress will be better remembered as Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men films.
She also played Lenore Mills in the Taken movies and appeared in shows such as How to Get Away with Murder, The Blacklist, When They See Us, and Hemlock Gove.
