Angela Rippon on her first Strictly rehearsals on set
Strictly Come Dancing hopeful Angela Rippon found herself locked out of the studio ahead of more rehearsals on Monday morning.
The 78-year-old was pictured reading a note on the venue’s window, as she waited to be let in.
Angela didn’t look too impressed as she reportedly waited up to 30 minutes until somebody came to unlock the doors.
The presenter’s dance partner Kai Widdrington was seen arriving later to meet her, looking puzzled.
Despite their morning not getting off to a good start, the pair were in high spirits as they got back to training for a new week on the dance floor.

Teasing fans with what’s to come, via Instagram, Kai said he couldn’t reveal the dance, but said it was “slightly different” from their last.
“Slightly more, you know, less tempo,” the professional dancer spilled in a video.
Angela chimed in: “In other words, another sort of musical voyage of adventure for me.”
Kai went on to thank everyone for their support following their Cha Cha Cha routine on Saturday.
The journalist defied her age with a fleet-footed routine, which ended in a very flexible high kick.

Judges had heaps of praise for her efforts, which Craig Revel Horwood branded “jaw-dropping”. The pair scored a total of 29 out of 40 points, putting them in a joint second place on the leaderboard.
Ahead of the live show, Angela expressed her frustrations at trying to get to grips with the dances.
She told The Mirror: “I know what I should be doing, I know how it should be feeling, it’s actually making my legs do it to the music. I’m just getting cross and frustrated.”
Following a hardcore week of training, this year’s oldest contestant admitted she was “exhausted” and claimed “bits of me aching that I didn’t know I had”.
Angela added: “I’m enjoying doing it and I’m fine with the bits that I get right. But I get very angry with myself when I absolutely muck it up and do it wrong.”
Despite her worries, viewers were more than impressed with her moves, with some even liking her to 2017 finalsit Debbie McGee.
Former contestant Dan Walker wrote: “Give Angela Rippon the glitterball immediately #Strictly.”
Anneka Rice also commented: “Good arms Angela! I haven’t got mine out since I was about 22! And that effing leg!!!! AMAZING! #strictly.”
Elliot Gonzalez typed: “Oh to be like Angela Rippon at 78. Magnificent. What a moment. #Strictly.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.20pm on BBC One.
