ITV’s Golden Girls! Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins honoured with Special Award for Good Morning Britain as This Morning’s Holly Willoughby fails to pick up gong for first time in four years
A host of glamorous stars attended the TRIC Awards at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House on Tuesday afternoon.
And Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins were honoured with the Special Award for Good Morning Britain at the event while Holly Willoughby failed to pick up a gong for first time in four years.
The TV presenter, 52, looked stunning in a plunging pink gown with a subtle polka dot print and elegant chiffon sleeves.
Joining her was ITV presenter Charlotte, 48, who showed off her sense of style in a bright pink midi dress with tie off-the-shoulder sleeves.
She added to her look with pointy pink stilettos to match her dress and accessorised with a gold clutch bag.

Meanwhile, EastEnders star Danielle Harold, 31, opted for a floaty black dress which she wore with heels and a chic clutch bag.
She was joined by her co-star Jamie Borthwick after her recent tragic cancer storyline on the soap.
Elsewhere, Christine McGuinness put on a leggy display in a blue mini dress as she posed up a storm at the event.
The model, 35, displayed her gorgeous figure in the tight number which had a halterneck and thigh-skimming design.
She boosted her height with silver strappy heels and wore her blonde tresses in loose waves while opting for typically glamorous makeup.
The 2023 TRIC Awards welcomed a host of Britain’s best known TV stars to but the This Morning presenters avoided the ceremony.
Holly Willoughby has previously attended the star-studded awards do but skipped this year’s ceremony- even though the show is up for the Daytime award.
A source told MailOnline she had ‘prior commitments’ but no doubt she didn’t want to risk an awkward run in with Eamonn Holmes who was in attendance and has been vocal with his criticism of her following the departure of her co-presenter Phillip Schofield.
The broadcaster, 63, who hosted This Morning alongside his wife Ruth Langsford, hasn’t held back from speaking his mind after working for ITV – following Schofield’s confession of an affair with a much younger colleague.

Eamonn is nominated in the News Presenter category while Holly’s show This Morning is up for the Daytime gong.
This Morning, now hosted by Holly and a rotation of guest presenters following Schofield’s exit, competes against A Place In The Sun, Escape To The Country and Father Brown.
GB News Breakfast presenter Eamonn meanwhile is up against Nigel Farage, Piers Morgan, Stephen Dixon and Susanna Reid.

Eamonn has been strongly condemning ITV’s ‘toxic’ environment and their management, since the company has been dragged into question following Phillip’s scandal – claiming he knows ‘the truth’.
The GB News presenter’s comments over the past month were criticised during a Parliamentary hearing, in which ITV bosses Carolyn McCall and Kevin Lygo were quizzed by MPs.
In a jibe at Eamonn, Mr Lygo claimed that former presenters hitting out at the channel hadn’t made claims while they were at ITV. And, he added, it ‘wasn’t surprising’ to hear such comments.

Since Schofield’s, This Morning has been plagued with allegations of ‘toxicity’, including from the show’s former resident doctor Dr Ranj Singh, who raised concerns about ‘bullying and discrimination’ and afterwards felt like he was ‘managed out’ for whistleblowing.
The Television and Radio Industries Club hosted its annual awards do with Judi Love and Rob Rinder on hosting duties and more than 1,000 invited guests in attendance.
The TRIC Awards recognise the very best TV, radio and online shows, as well as Britain’s most-loved stars and talent, with the winners decided by the public and industry vote.
Call the Midwife, Doc Martin, Peaky Blinders and Death in Paradise are set to battle it out in the best Drama category.
Meanwhile I’m A Celeb, Strictly Come Dancing are two of the competitors in the Entertainment category.
Speaking of the event and the nominees, TRIC Chair, Daniel Todaro, said: ‘What makes the TRIC Awards so special is that it’s the public who gets to choose who wins a coveted TRIC Award and hold a place in history alongside those who have won in our 54 year history.

‘The Television and Radio Industries Club, a not-for-profit organisation, achieved over 1.6 million votes cast by the general public to select their favourite TV, radio and streaming programming, celebrities and moments.
