After months and months of delays of filming on the upcoming Friends reunion, it looks like there’s actually a new filming date!
Matthew Perry, who famously played Chandler Bing in the fan-favorite long running show, just revealed that the original six stars will reunite in March to film the special.
“Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up,” he teased fans about the special that’s been pushed back many times.
Matthew, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt Le Blanc will all reunite to look back on the groundbreaking series that ran for 10 seasons on NBC.
The unscripted special is expected to air on HBO Max, and is also expected to be filmed on Friends‘ original soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, Calif.
The special had been pushed back and delayed countless times due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The original plan was to welcome in a handful of Friends superfans to watch the cast reminisce. It remains to be seen if that could still happen.
Just recently, Jennifer actually called the delay a blessing. See why she said that here…
