Tom Petty‘s Wildflowers has returned to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums Chart.
Wildflowers, the late legend’s second solo album, was first released in 1994. The album was reissued on October 16 and re-entered the chart at No. 1 with 44,000 equivalent album units, including 38,000 album sales, for the week ending October 22, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
With the latest chart ruler, Petty joins John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews as the only acts with six or more No. 1s on the chart.
Wildflowers had debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart dated November 19, 1994.
