Tommy Fury has been unable to travel to America for his highly-anticipated boxing match against YouTube sensation Jake Paul, as he told his fans he is sure he has "done nothing wrong" during an Instagram video.
The boxer, whose girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague recently addressed questions they'd secretly broken up, was due to come face to face against Paul at a press conference in New York on Wednesday 29 June, but was halted in his tracks at Heathrow Airport.
While the former Love Island star, 22, claimed he has no idea what the issue with his temporary US visa is, he's determined to try and get things sorted in time for the fight.
The match, which had already been rescheduled, was confirmed last week to be taking place on August 6 at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.
Opening up on the stressful situation with his followers, Tommy began: "Me and my team arrived at Heathrow Airport ready to fly out and as soon as I entered the airport I was pulled to one side and told by a Homeland Security officer that my ESTA had been denied and that I wasn't able to travel to the USA for a reason I apparently know.
"I can stand here and say I have done nothing wrong and I have no clue why I'm not allowed to travel to the USA," the athlete continued. "I've been training for a fight this whole time and that's all I've been doing.
"I have no clue why I'm not allowed to travel and neither does my team or my lawyers.
"Now I've got to go to the embassy trying to resolve it and I'm in the middle of training."
The reality TV star admitted the block came as a massive "shock" but he's doing his best to fix the problem.
"I don't know why this has happened a huge shock to me and my team," Tommy went on. "It's government issues and it's a lot bigger than the fight right now and I'm trying to get it sorted."
The star's opponent also spoke out on the news their fight could be in jeopardy, in typical Jake Paul style.
The boxer is keen to make sure the grudge match goes ahead, as the pair have unfinished business in the ring.
"Tommy, no matter how hard you try to get out of this fight, I’m going to do everything in my power to not let you weasel ur way out," Paul said.
"My team and my partners have made it clear the steps you need to take to solve your latest excuse.
"Take them or admit you're a scared little b****," the star goaded.
