Tommy Fury is ‘Molly-Mae’s lap dog as relationship changes in just two weeks’

Love Island runners-up Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury gave their first joint interview on Friday's This Morning.

The pair were quizzed by stand-in hosts Rochelle Humes and Mollie King on everything from dealing with online trolls to how they were negotiating their relationship in the real world.

During their time in the villa the couple were leaps ahead of their fellow contestants with them becoming the first to use the L-word and deem themselves official – even if some viewers expressed their scepticism.

Since leaving the pair have continued the loved-up PDAs on Instagram , sharing insights into their cosy date nights with fans.

But according to body language expert Judi James, the duo didn't quite manage to keep up the appearance as they made their live TV debut.

Casting her expert eye over their This Morning interview, Judi says she believes Tommy seems to have lost his 'look of love' but is still keen to please Molly and keep up a 'united front'

Judi says: "This couple seem to have developed a double act where she does the talking, using terms that sound as though they’re on a loop, ie talking about their ‘bubble’ etc, and she talks very quickly, throwing a few glances at Tommy as she does so.

"Tommy sits more impassively here, although it could be telling that he still employs the extremely tight embrace that he used on the reunion show.

"He seems to wind his arm right around Molly’s waist with the hand down near her lap and this unusually ‘binding’ gesture suggests not just physical intimacy but also a possible desire to hold her as close to himself as possible, while she sits upright, talking to the interviewers.

"Tommy’s genuine emotions are rather difficult to fathom via his facial expressions here. He nods in agreement with Molly but as he looks at her he seems to have lost that face-softening expression of shared pleasure that is normally seen as the look of love.
