Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott ‘NOT divorcing’ – after actor announced their separation before DELETING post
An insider insisted the duo are ‘not getting a divorce’ and ‘have been better than ever’ as of late, according to Us Weekly.
‘They’ve had their ups and downs like any couple, but [they] have continued working on their marriage through couple’s counseling. They love each other and are not going to split.’
Dean, 56, confused fans after he deleted an Instagram post announcing they had decided to split after 18 years, less than 24 hours after first sharing it with his followers.
According to the insider, pals of the couple think Dean was compelled to post the announcement after possibly getting in a massive fight with Tori, 50.

‘He obviously regretted it, so he deleted the post,’ the source said.
In the original post, Dean said he and Tori have vowed to ‘work together as loving parents’ for their five children: Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, six. McDermott is also father to son, Jack, 24, whom he shares with ex, Mary Jo Eustace.
He shared a throwback photograph of the pair together along with a snap with their four children.
He penned: ‘It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own.
‘We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness.’
Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tori, 50 – daughter of the late film producer Aaron Spelling – has yet to break her silence on the split.

The split post comes after years of claims the power couple was on the rocks, a rumour that they dispelled as recently as just one day ago, when Tori shared a snap of them together with their children.
Thanking the Beverly Hills hotel for their hospitality, she wrote: ‘Family time is the best time and @beverlyhilton you continue to always make us feel like true family. We love you! xoxo.’
Tori previously married actor Charlie Shanian in 2004, but the former couple divorced in 2006 after the actress met Dean.
Tori and Dean met and began their affair while working on a Lifetime movie in 2005 – when they were both married to other people.
The stars got married in a private ceremony in Fiji on May 7 2006, less than a month after Tori finalized her divorce from Charlie, and following Dean’s split from Mary.
The couple remained together despite being buffeted by divorce rumors and reports of financial problems over the years.
They also starred in the reality series titled, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, which aired from 2007 until 2012.
In late 2013, it was revealed that Dean had an affair on Tori, but the two chose to work through the infidelity to keep their marriage in tact.

However, in 2021, the BH90210 actress admitted on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, that both she and her husband were sleeping in separate beds.
She told Lewis during the interview, ‘Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed,’ and added that Dean was, ‘in a room.’
A source told Entertainment Tonight at the time, ‘Tori and Dean do things as a family for the sake of their kids and live in the same house but sleep in separate rooms. Tori is more vocal about what goes on between them, and Dean is just completely checked out.’
The insider continued that the two stars were, ‘very much struggling,’ and explained, ‘Dean has been caught in so many lies and infidelities over the years and Tori is just over it.
‘Dean does not want to get divorced because of financial reasons, and Tori doesn’t want to for the sake of their family,’ the source stated.
In June 2022 it was claimed that Tori and Dean – who wed in 2006 – had split, with a source telling UsWeekly they were ‘going through with a trial separation.’
It was shared at the time: ‘She hasn’t been doing social things anymore. She seems to be isolating herself. She’s been so MIA that they’re worried something’s going on – if she’s having money troubles again or is depressed,’ the source said.
Earlier this year in March, a separate source gave an update on their relationship and told ET, ‘they are still doing their best to make it work.’
Shock: This comes after years of claims the power couple was on the rocks , a rumour that they dispelled just one day ago, when Tori shared a snap of them together with their children
The insider said: ‘Marriage counselling has been a huge part of how they are trying to work things out, and so far, it’s gone fairly well.
‘Their kids are doing well. Everyone is doing their best to keep things afloat and live a life that’s as normal as possible and trying to stay happy.’
When Tori lost her father Aaron in 2006, she infamously inherited just $800,000 of his vast fortune estimated at $600 million.
Tori’s mother Candy, who was the executor of Aaron’s estate, told the New York Times that her daughter got so little because of her extravagance.
She said that Tori ‘would close a store and drop $50,000 to $60,000,’ insisting: ‘I never did anything like that. She just went crazy.’
Tori shared in her own 2013 book Spelling It Like It Is that she had been forced to learn to tighten the purse strings – but not without discomfort.
She wrote: ‘It’s not my fault I’m an uptown girl stuck in a midtown life. I was raised in opulence. My standards are ridiculously high. We can’t afford that lifestyle, but when you grow up silver spoon it’s hard to go plastic.’
