Westlife singer Mark Feehily has become a first-time dad at the age of 39 alongside his partner, Cailean O'Neill.
Mark took to Instagram to reveal that he and Cailean were ecstatic as they welcomed a baby girl into the world.
He shared a picture of himself and Cailean in hospital as they wheeled their newborn girl down the hall, while holding their arms up in the air in joy.
Mark captioned the picture: “Baby Layla born safe & sound @ 7.27pm on October 1st 2019! We’re the happiest Dads in the world!x.”
The couple had previously announced that they were expecting a baby girl, as Mark revealed the news on stage during a Westlife concert in Croke Park in Dublin.
The pair shared the news that they were going to become parents, by posting an ultrasound snap and saying it was the “proudest moment” of his life.
Mark posed with his husband-to-be in front of a mirror, with the pair showing the ultrasound on a mobile phone as they both smiled for the camera.
He wrote: “Thanks for all the Birthday wishes everyone!! It really makes this my most special birthday EVER to let everyone know that later this year we will become Dads for the first time.
“This is the proudest moment of our lives and we are beyond excited to say it out loud!”

Mark and Cailean have been together for six years and got engaged earlier this year during a romantic getaway in the Maldives.
Previously speaking about his hopes to become a father, Mark told Mail On Sunday: “I would love to have my own kids running around one day.
"Listen, that is absolutely a dream for me when it happens. I say when it happens because it will happen.
“It is absolutely the next step. Everything is exciting. Sometimes your work is amazing but your personal life is in trouble.
"Sometimes the personal life is great but you have no work. When the two come together it is the perfect harmony and that is where I am at and hopefully it will stay like that.”
Westlife recently announced a one-off concert in Wembley Stadium – leaving fans delighted.
