It’s wedding planning season for Justin and Hailey Bieber, y’all — and judging by the date they’ve picked to say ‘I do’ in front of friends and family, they’d better get BUSY!!!
The couple has chosen September 30th as the day of their (second) wedding, and according to TMZ, they’ve sent out save the dates to close friends and family confirming the date and relaying an interesting tidbit of information: the whole thing is set to go down in South Carolina!
The save the dates aren’t full-on invitations, of course, so they were short on specifics, but a source has since told E! News the pair is planning on having close friends and family out to the Montage Palmetto Bluff Hotel in Bluffton, South Carolina for the early fall nuptials.
Bluffton is an interesting place for the A-list pair to hold their special ceremony! Just north of Savannah, Georgia, and about a two-hour drive south of Charleston, South Carolina, the Bluffton-Hilton Head area is right on the Atlantic Ocean, and makes for a super nice, low-key, out-of-the-way spot for a ceremony like this one. With lots of traditional southern feel to the area, we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a bit of a retro, almost down-home vibe to everything on their wedding day!
It’s definitely an out of the way choice for high-profile celebs like Justin and Hailey, too, which makes it so interesting. But Bluffton is a very nice tourist area with a ton of history as far as quality weddings are concerned.
Plus, insiders with knowledge of the couple’s decision-making process report the pair quickly fell in love with the area as they began to look around for a potential coastal wedding. In fact, to hear the source tell it, the young lovers apparently went back and forth quite a bit before deciding on South Carolina as the place to be (below):
“They changed their mind so many times … But they love the Montage brand and visited the property and fell in love with Palmetto Bluff and the area. Now, the countdown is on and they are really looking forward to it.”
Interesting! Such a fun time, too!
Can’t really go back now, anyways, considering the save the dates are out there and you’d assume friends and family are already lining up travel to come see the whole thing go down! Obviously, these two have (technically) been down the aisle before, but this fall figures to be a VERY special time for ’em, second ceremony or otherwise.
Congrats to the happy couple!!! What do y’all think about their South Carolina choice, Perezcious readers?! Sound OFF about it in the comments (below)…
