Where are the cast of Mad Men now? As Christina Hendricks sheds her iconic sexy secretary curves and Jon Hamm finally settles down… a look at what the stars of hit series are up to
Mad Men stars Jon Hamm and Christina Hendricks have been making headlines of late, Hamm for finally tying the knot with girlfriend Anna Osceola and Hendricks’ weight loss leading fans to speculate that she’s using weight loss drug Ozempic.
16 years earlier, both actors – and the rest of the stars of Mad Men – were far from the household names they are now.
Much like The Shield put FX on the map in 2002, Mad Men put basic cable network AMC on the map when it debuted in July 2007, the classic movie network’s first original scripted TV series, running for seven seasons until 2015.
The series was a massive hit, launching the careers of Hamm (Don Draper), Hendricks (Joan Harris), Elisabeth Moss (Peggy Olson), January Jones (Betty Draper), Vincent Kartheiser (Pete Campbell), Aaron Staton (Ken Cosgrove), Rich Sommer (Harry Crane), John Slattery (Roger Sterling) and Kiernan Shipka (Sally Draper).
We’re exploring where what of these stars of Mad Men are up to now, eight years after the show’s beloved conclusion.

Jon Hamm (Don Draper)
Hamm was best known for playing Inspector Nate Brasso on the Lifetime TV series The Division before he landed the lead role of ad exec Don Draper in Mad Men.
He won an Emmy in 2015 for the final season, after seven straight nominations without a win and he continued to work regularly on the big screen as well.
He starred in a wide variety of movies such as The Day The Earth Stood Still, The Town, Sucker Punch, Bridesmaids and Million Dollar Arm while starring on Mad Men.
After Mad Men went off the air, Hamm largely stuck to the big screen, starring in movies such as Baby Driver, Beirut, Tag, Bad Times at the El Royale, Lucy in the Sky, Between Two Ferns: The Movie, The Jesus Rolls, Richard Jewell, Wild Mountain Thyme and, most recently, Top Gun: Maverick and Confess, Fletch.
He has returned to the small screen from time to time, with guest-starring spots in Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, Childrens’ Hospital, TripTank and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Hamm will be returning to the small screen again with his role as Roy in the new season of FX’s Fargo, which debuts later this year.
He also plays Paul Marks in the new season of Apple TV Plus’ The Morning Show, which is slated for release on September 13.
The actor is also part of the voice cast in the animated movie Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar, arriving in theaters August 22.
He also made headlines earlier this year for marrying his girlfriend of two years, Anna Osceola.

Christina Hendricks (Joan Holloway)
Much like Hamm, Hendricks had toiled on the small screen in relative obscurity for years before landing the role of Joan Holloway, Don Draper’s secretary.
She played Kelly Kramer in the Showtime series Beggars and Choosers from 1999 to 2001 and had guest-starring spots on ER, Firefly, Tru Calling, Cold Case, Without a Trace, Las Vegas and Life before landing Mad Men.
Also like Hamm, she continued working on the big screen while filming Mad Men, appearing in movies like Life As We Know It, Detachment, Drive, The Family Tree, I Don’t Know How She Does It, Ginger & Rosa and Lost River.
She also continued working on the big screen after Mad Men, with roles in Zoolander 2, The Neon Demon, Bad Santa 2, Fist Fight and The Strangers: Prey At Night.
Unlike Hamm, she returned to the small screen in starring roles with NBC’s Good Girls and Tin Star.
She most recently voiced Cherie in Solar Opposites and voices Mrs. St. George in the upcoming series The Buccaneers.
Hendricks was married to actor Geoffrey Arend from 2009 to 2019, and she’s currently engaged to camera operator George Bianchini, who she’s been seeing since 2021.
She made headlines last week for sharing new snaps on Instagram that featured what appears to be a significant weight loss that lead fans to speculate she’s using the weight loss drug Ozempic.

She continued working regularly into her teens on movies like Girl, Interrupted and The Missing before playing Zoey Bartlet, the youngest of President Josiah Bartlet’s daughters on The West Wing, before playing Peggy Olson, the copywriter who worked her way up at the Sterling Cooper advertising firm.
Like her co-stars, she also continued working on the big screen during Mad Men, in movies such as Did You Hear About The Morgans, Get Him To the Greek, Listen Up Philip and Meadowland.
After Mad Men she appeared in movies The Old Man and the Gun, Her Smell, Us, Shirley, The Invisible Man and The French Dispatch, while still starring in yet another hit TV series: Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale.
She’ll next be seen in director Taika Waititi’s new film Next Goal Wins, in theaters November 17.

Moss also has The Veil in pre-production, though it’s unclear when that will head into production.
The actress has also made headlines for her marriage to Fred Armisen from 2009 to 2011 and her being a practicing member of the Church of Scientology.

She continued working regularly on the big screen with roles in The Boat That Rocked, Unknown, X-Men: First Class, Seeking Justice, Sweetwater and Good Kill.
Unlike most of her co-stars, she transitioned from a basic cable drama to a Big 4 network comedy series, starring as Melissa Chartres on Fox’s The Last Man on Earth.
That show ran for four seasons from 2015 to 2018, though, while her co-stars have largely worked non-stop since the season finale, Jones has worked sparingly since.
She played Lizbeth Sloan in Netflix’s The Politician and Carol Baker on another Netflix series, Spinning Out.
Jones can currently be seen on the big screen in the new film God Is A Bullet, starring alongside Jamie Foxx, Maika Monroe and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
The actress currently has The Helpers in pre-production, though it’s unclear when production will begin.
She also made headlines for her dating life years earlier, romantically linked with Ashton Kutcher in the late 1990s, Josh Groban in the early 2000s and Jason Sudeikis in 2010.
It was reported they split in January 2011, with Jones giving birth to her son Xander in September 2011, though she has still not disclosed the identity of her son’s father.

As part of the ensemble cast she earned the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a drama series in 2008 and 2009.
Before starring on Mad Men she made her television debut at just five months of age on highly-popular hospital drama ER.
