Steph Claire Smith has revealed the unlikely perks of cutting off her long hair into a bob.
The fitness guru, 29, lobbed off her trademark blonde mane for the first time in her adult life last week, following in the footsteps of fellow Australian influencers Tammy Hembrow, Ella Ding and Melissa Leong.
Steph reflected on her new ‘do during this week’s episode of Keep It Cleaner podcast, telling her co-host Laura Henshaw that shorter hair has helped her sex life with husband Josh Miller.
‘Honestly, the other day we probably had some of the best sex we’ve ever had,’ Steph admitted.
Steph, who has been in a relationship with Josh for almost 12 years, said their time in the bedroom has improved because she ‘feels a little bit different’ with her new look.

Another benefit of getting a bob, Steph explained, is that Josh no longer has to deal with having hair in his face when they cuddle.
‘I love it because he gets closer now. Whereas before, he would randomly shove my hair under my neck or push it up at the top of the pillow.’
Other benefits cited by Steph include the fact that she can shower and wet her hair without washing it, and that she can ‘wear hoodies without her hair knotting up the back.’

The model also enthused about being able to wear a handbag without her hair getting stuck under the strap, describing this a ‘game changer’.
Steph debuted her dramatic hair transformation last Tuesday via Instagram uploading a video montage showing herself before and after visiting the hairdresser.
‘I’m obsessed,’ she captioned the footage, before thanking her hairstylist and salon.
Steph is best known for being the face of her multimillion-dollar fitness empire Keep It Cleaner.
She married Josh Miller in 2019 and they have one child, son Harvey, born in 2021.
