Like father, like son! At the start of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Africa tour, the sweet family of three landed in Cape Town, South Africa, yesterday with Baby Archie in tow. They chose to dress 4-month-old Archie in a white knit hat with a pom-pom on the top that looked very similar to the one Princess Diana put on 4-month-old Prince Harry back in January 1985, when they took a trip to Scotland. In fact, you could say baby Archie is dad Prince Harry’s lookalike.
Back in 1985, Princess Diana wore a smart gray pinstripe coat while carrying Prince Harry from a plane at Aberdeen Airport in Scotland, as People reports. Markle, meanwhile, chose to wear all white on Monday. But both royals carried babies — and both babies wore almost the same exact hat.
Though baby Archie stayed behind while his parents began their tour, fans asked after him. As People reports, one onlooker hugged Meghan and Harry and asked, “Where’s Archie?” We would ask the same thing.
He was, as 4-month-olds are wont to do, napping. “He’s sleeping,” Harry told them. We need a nap to recover from all the cuteness!
