It’s safe to say Dame Prue Leith’s choice of necklace for tonight’s Celebrity Bake Off raised a few eyebrows.
The judge appeared on tonight’s episode of The Great Celebrity Bake Off: Stand Up To Cancer to give her verdict on the baking abilities of Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson, Friends’ David Schwimmer, and comedians Rose Matafeo and Tom Davis.
What we are sure was an innocent outfit choice from the nation’s beloved Dame Prue, 83, actually turned out to be a bit, er, kinky.
Always radiating happiness through her colourful clothes and bold glasses, this time the chef may have gone a little off piste.
Because instead of pairing her thick-rimmed orange spectacles and gorgeous black and white coat with some nice simple jewellery, Dame Prue decided to make a statement with her necklace – but not the one she’d hoped.
Some of Twitter’s dirtier minds leapt straight to BDSM and one particular sex toy when they saw a big orange ball hanging from Dame Prue’s neck.
‘Great that Prue feels so accepted on #GBBO that she can wear her ball gag,’ one viewer wrote.
Another said: ‘Why is Prue wearing a ball gag?!??’
‘ummmm…. did anyone think to tell prue what her necklace looks like?’ asked a third. [sic]
Oh, Prue.
Besides being accused of wearing a sex toy, it was a night of firsts all round for Dame Prue, as she also tasted a turd-shaped baked good.
