Eamonn Holmes has made another subtle dig at Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield following his scathing rants.
The GB News presenter, 63, who is married to Loose Women star Ruth Langsford, has been pretty vocal about his thoughts on Phil’s exit after the rumoured ‘fallout’ between the This Morning hosts.
Having previously called Phil, 61, and Holly, 42, ‘actors’, and liking a social media post about ‘red flags’, Eamonn then took to Twitter to reflect on a ‘good day’ after Phil announced his departure.
He’s now made another dig, by liking a Tweet responding to a clip from GB News, in which Eamonn claimed Phil was ‘sacked’.
The Tweet read: ‘Well said @EamonnHolmes at last a presenter who says what everyone else is [and know] the crap they’re told to!!
‘An as for @thismorning top stories if that was presenters on another channel it be 1st!
‘But nope sayin nuthin! An @hollywills early hols convenient eh!’

‘I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love.
‘So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future.’
Holly added: ‘It’s been over 13 great years presenting This Morning with Phil and I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all of his knowledge, his experience and his humour.
‘The sofa won’t feel the same without him.’
Phillip Schofield’s departure from This Morning after 20 years has been confirmed by ITV, days after a rumoured fallout with Holly Willoughby. The 61-year-old and his daytime television co-host, 41, have been the centre of speculation after it was reported they were ‘barely speaking’ behind-the-scenes and that their relationship had ‘cooled’. It has since been announced that Phil will be stepping down while Holly will remain, and they have already presented their last programme together. #metronews #metrouknews #philipschofield #itvthismorning #hollywilloughby #itv #thismorningitv #thismorning #phillipschofield #phillipschofield #newsfyp #newstok #itvfyp #breakingnews #fyp #phillipschofieldfallout #itvthismorning #thismorningitv #fyp #steppingdown #phillipschofieldquits
Phil’s departure came after it was reported they were ‘barely speaking’ behind-the-scenes and that their relationship had ‘cooled’.
While they have continued putting on a united front on the This Morning sofa, and Phil recently insisted they are ‘still the best of friends’, rumours have continued swirling, with reports escalating to claims that Phil is ‘refusing to quit This Morning’, as one source called the situation a ‘runaway train that cannot be stopped’.
Meanwhile, a recent insider had alleged that Holly contemplated quitting the programme, saying that ‘by removing herself from the situation she could protect herself better’.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
