Exhausted new dad Jack Whitehall goes on sleepy stroll days after baby's birth

New dad Jack Whitehall seems to already be feeling the effect of the sleepless nights.

The funny man stepped out for some fresh air with his girlfriend Roxy Horner in London on Tuesday (September 19), following the birth of their first child.

Jack, 35, and model Roxy, 32, welcomed an adorable daughter earlier this month, whose name has since been confirmed as Elsie.

And it seems the newborn is keeping her parents on their toes, as Jack rubbed his eyes while out for a stroll in the capital.

Child-free, the lovebirds took a rare moment for themselves as they walked their pet poodle.

Brit Awards host Jack cut a casual figure in black tracksuit bottoms with a denim jacket and baseball cap.

New mum Roxy also opted for comfort in a pair of cycling shorts and an oversized leather jacket, going make-up-free.

It won’t be very often that the new parents get to take time off baby duties, so we’re sure they made the most of the peace and quiet!

Jack and Roxy’s outing comes after their little girl’s name was revealed after they spent time carefully considering the moniker.

Elsie’s name also has a very sweet backstory, as it means ‘pledged to God.’

A source added to The Sun: ‘Elsie is a gorgeous baby and Jack and Roxy have picked a gorgeous name to fit.

‘Everyone is thrilled.’

Jack and Roxy have been keeping their online followers in the loop with their parenting antics since Elsie’s arrival.

Most recently, they were forced to ‘compromise’ when they both had a different idea of what to do with the little one’s umbilical cord.

Alongside a selfie of a clearly disgusted Jack holding the cord, Roxy wrote on Instagram: ‘Jack wanted to throw away baby’s umbilical cord and I wanted to keep it so we compromised and planted it in one our house plants.’

Well, each to their own…

Elsewhere, Jack has proven he’s already a pro when it comes to nappy changing.

Not only that, but he’s multitasking!

The TV star had his followers in fits of laughter when he shared a snap of him changing Elsie while also watching the Arsenal match on his phone.

Alongside the post, Jack wrote: ‘This was me watching the injury time of the Arsenal game whilst changing my first ever nappy!’

He then joked about naming his little one ‘Rice Rice Baby’ in tribute to midfielder Declan Rice.

Thankfully, that one didn’t get the green light from Roxy.
