How does a country music star stay busy in quarantine? By dreaming up concerts he can play for the public, of course. Luke Bryan is the latest of A-list musicians who are putting their talents to good use and putting on a show (a virtual show, that is). The best part? It’s 100% free, and coming up very soon. Here’s what to expect from Bryan’s new show — and how you can stream it.
Bryan’s concert is a part of Verizon’s streaming series Pay It Forward Live, a weekly event to help support and promote small businesses. Verizon provides suggestions throughout the show for how viewers can support the small businesses in their communities, and has pledged to donate $10 to small businesses in need every time the hashtage #PayitForwardLIVE is used.
So, how and when to stream? Bryan’s show will air on April 16, 8 p.m. ET, and be available to anyone with an internet or radio connection. Catch the show on Verizon’s Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube, turn to Fios Channel 501, AXS TV, or FOX NOW, or — if you’re on the go — listen in on iHeart and SiriusXM.
Bryan has been vocal about his support for the series’ cause, and is proud to join previously featured performers like Alicia Keys and Ryan Tedder.
“When I heard about the Pay It Forward program Verizon was doing to support local small businesses, I loved the idea of doing my part to help raise awareness for it,” the star said in a statement. “These are the people who wake up every day living out their dreams and passions and bringing them into our communities. Let’s all continue to do right, support each other and…Pay It Forward.”
Paying it forward with a free live show? Don’t mind if we do.
