Huge popstar 'embarrassed' after TV appearance she hid for years is uncovered

Long before she pushed the button, a girlband icon wore a very on brand red dress during an appearance on The Michael Barrymore show – and kept it a secret until now.

Sugababes hun Mutya Buena has shared a hilarious clip of herself when she was just ‘seven or eight’ being interviewed by the entertainer for his huge 90s show.

For some reason, she’s been determined to make sure footage didn’t see the light of day but caved when suddenly it began doing the round rounds on TikTok.

In the clip, Mutya tells Michael that she does various jobs around the house, cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, toilets and everywhere else.

Giggling away, she claims her parents ‘sometimes’ give her 50p or £1 a week.

Finally coming clean, Mutya shared the hilarity on TikTok.

What a queen.

The original line-up of Sugababes, made up of Mutya, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, have made the comeback of a lifetime since getting their names back and endlessly touring the country, closing down stages at Glastonbury and they’re about to play their biggest gig yet headlining London’s 02 Arena.

Almost 10 years after recording what was lined-up to be their first album together since One Touch, they finally released their latest collection, The Lost Tapes, to huge acclaim on Christmas Eve 2022.
