Season 4 will only last 48 days in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, which is a big drop from the average of two months you’re used to.
Both Call Of Duty sequels just received a suite of new content with the Season 4 update, including three new operators and an Netherlands-inspired Resurgence map, among other things.
With each new season, the battle pass also gets refreshed, granting you access to 20 new sections filled with valuable items waiting to be unlocked.
However, it appears that this time around you’ll need to be on your toes if you want to leave no sector unexplored, as Season 4’s duration has been significantly decreased.
The official confirmation came directly from Activision, who released the full patch notes for Season 4 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 a few hours ago.
There’s a whole bunch of major changes to dive into, but the one thing that immediately caught everyone’s attention was the shorter season length.
Season 4 will only last for 48 days, which is noticeably shorter compared to the usual duration we’ve been used to. To put it in perspective, Season 3 lasted a solid 63 days.
