Pedro Pascal 'scared and disturbed' after car was spat on in road rage incident

Pedro Pascal has revealed that he was ‘spat at’ during a shocking road rage incident, and we demand answers.

The 48-year-old has become a household name over the last few years, stealing the show in The Last of Us, the Mandalorian and Game of Thrones.

However, despite cementing himself as a firm fan favorite in Hollywood, it seems that not everyone has been taken with the actor – as he reflected on a bizarre interaction with a stranger while he was driving in LA.

In a candid chat with Beef lead Steven Yeun for Variety’s Actors on Actors series, Pedro took the opportunity to discuss the recent Netflix series – which dealt with two characters caught up in an escalating road rage feud – and shared his own anecdote, explaining that things got heated while he was behind the wheel.

‘Yesterday was a day. It was my fault. I’ve had three incidents, and they’ve all been my fault,’ he said. ‘I cut somebody off, and I look over, and there’s a big glob of saliva – like visual effects put it there, man – just dripping down the side of the passenger window. And my sister was like, “F**k!”’

In total shock, Steven replied: ‘Holy s**t. Like a glob from the driver’s side? He just hocked a hard loogie at you?’

‘He spit at me,’ the Equalizer 2 star continued. ‘I was in shock. It didn’t trigger any rage out of me. It absolutely humbled me and shocked me, scared me a little bit, disturbed me.

‘They want me to drink in their saliva. It made me feel guilty. I was like, “Gosh, people are going through s**t.”’

Side note: Feeling guilt for someone else spitting on them proves that we are truly not worthy of him.

Pedro recently made headlines after he opened up about his time on Game of Thrones – revealing that he actually suffered eye infections after greeting excited viewers.

He starred as Oberyn Martell in the fantasy drama, alongside Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey and Sophie Turner, before his character was brutally killed and had his eyes gouged out.

During a stint on the Hollywood Reporter’s Drama Actors Roundtable, he recalled being asked to pose for pictures in that same style – which ended with him needing a medical check-up.

‘I remember, earlier on, because of Game of Thrones and the way my character died people were super into taking selfies with their thumbs in my eyes,’ he said.

‘At first, I was so earnest and happy about the success of the character in the show, I’d let them!’

But, after letting fans put their fingers in and around his eyes, he confessed that they became ‘infected’.

Pedro truly does go above and beyond.
