Scarlett Johansson leaves Baftas after-party with ladder in her tights

You know you’ve had a good night when you end up with a ladder in your tights and that’s exactly what happened to Scarlett Johansson as she partied after the Baftas.

Don’t you worry, Scar Jo. We’ve all been there.

There’s nothing more annoying than a box-fresh pair of tights getting a slight snag, but if anyone can pull off a little ladder up the leg, then it’s Scarlett.

She still looked nothing short of amazing as she left the Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone in the early hours after stopping by a Baftas after-party.

Scarlett ditched her awards dress for something a little slinkier and favoured a little black dress (because, obvs) for the celeb-filled bash, that just so happened to fall on the night of the NFL Super Bowl too.

Now there’s an invite we wish we could have got our hands on.

Despite just missing out on a Bafta award herself – Scarlett had been nominated for leading actress – the Black Widow star looked in great spirits as she hopped into a taxi.

Scarlett was recognised for her leading role in Marriage Story, where she stars alongside Adam Driver, but it was Renee Zellweger who came out on top on the night, as she took home the gong for playing Judy Garland in biopic Judy.

Others nominated in the category included Saoirse Ronan (Little Women), Charlize Theron (Bombshell) and Jessie Buckley (Wild Rose).

Joaquin Phoenix was presented with the leading actor Bafta, after beating the likes of Taron Egerton and Leonardo Di Caprio, and Brad Pitt took home the Bafta for supporting actor for his role in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

He’s cleaned up this awards season, thanks to his appearance in the Quentin Tarantino film, and has not only won a Bafta, but a Golden Globe, a Critics’ Choice award and a Screen Actors Guild award.

That’s gonna make one very well-decorated mantle piece.
