WWE legend Brock Lesnar suffers wardrobe malfunction during SummerSlam match

Brock Lesnar is one of the most intimidating men in WWE history but even he isn’t immune to embarrassing situations.

The Beast Incarnate was in action against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam on Saturday night as the two rivals brought their feud to an emphatic end, but the in ring action wasn’t all fans were left talking about.

During the bout, Lesnar suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction when his pants ripped around the crotch.

Thankfully for the former world champion – and everyone watching from home – he was wearing underwear, saving his modesty somewhat.

It didn’t stop fans having a lot of fun at his expense, with plenty of people sharing pictures of Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man with his ripped mask, and others sharing gifs of THAT SpongeBob SquarePants episode.

Not surprisingly, people took advantage of the fact they’ll never have to say anything to Lesnar’s face as they had some fun at his expense.

‘Lmaooo looks like Brock had a SpongeBob rip pants accident 💀,’ wrote one fan on social media, while another added: ‘Cody hit Brock so hard, his pants exploded. #SummerSlam’

‘CODY RHODES DONE BEAT DAT BOY BROCK OUT OF HIS DAMN PANTS,’ said a third person as someone else teased: ‘One more Cross Rhodes and Brock Lesnar’s pants would’ve exploded.’

And yet another viewer quipped: ‘Well Cody is beating the pants off of Brock literally rn. 😭 so it’s going well! #SummerSlam’

Meanwhile, after Rhodes won the match, Lesnar showed a different side as he shook his opponent’s hand, pulled him in for a hug and raised his hand before leaving the American Nightmare to celebrate his victory.

Following the show, WWE boss Triple H – whose real name is Paul Levesque – told media that the surprising moment was actually ‘completely unplanned’, proving the shared respect between the two veterans.
