IT'S the most important piece of jewellery you'll ever own – so it's only natural that most brides want their engagement ring to be unique to them.
However, one bride-to-be's ring is attracting attention for all the wrong reasons after social media users compared the design to a vagina – yes, really.
Posting photos of her, erm, statement gold ring on Facebook, the anonymous woman wrote: "Hey guys, I said yes and wanted to share with you all."
Unlike most traditional engagement rings, this piece of jewellery DOESN'T have a sparkling jewel to seal the deal.
Instead, the ring is a twisted, gold metal design – but the chuffed bride claims to love it all the same.
Sadly, the same can't be said for members of the That's It, I'm Ring Shaming Facebook group who quickly tore the design to pieces – metaphorically speaking, obvs.
To start off with, critics couldn't help but compare the unique ring to a kind of pasta.
One simply wrote: "F***king noodle."
Another added: "A linguine noodle cast in some cheap metal."
However, a heated debate then broke out between other users who couldn't decide if the ring looked more like a vagina or an ear.
And we have to admit, we're struggling to tell the difference now too.
"Ugly vagina-looking ring," one said. "Just ewww!"
A second chimed in with: "Vagina. Vagina is all I can see."
Meanwhile, one user joked: "Don't know if it's meant to be an ear or a vagina…"
For more baffling engagement rings, this bride's design compared to "jewelled tweezers" by social media users.
And this bizarre engagement ring has been mocked on social media for looking like "festering boils" and "genital warts".
Plus this bride's engagement ring has been mocked online after social media users claim it looks like "a bedazzled bootyhole".
