Guys called me 'ugly' and 'fat' in high school but they're now in my DMs – sorry babes, I won't make that mistake | The Sun

A WOMAN has hit back at guys from high school who used to call her "ugly" and "fat" before hitting on her after her "glow up."

The 22-year-old advocates for body positivity and hits back at trolls who bully her over her body shape as she tells them "fatphobia is not cute."

Tiktoker Nehvvie (@chubby_baeby_) has reflected on her poor self-esteem and learned to love her curves and have confidence in herself.

In one video she posted two pictures of herself from high school where she looks like a normal healthy teenager.

However, the text in the video read: "You're ugly, lol," "fatass," and "no guy will ever take her seriously."

The clip then transitioned to her now looking much more confident in her style.

She reflected on the experience and said: "You really had me out here thinking I was mid, like I wasn't that gassed, like I wasn't that fire, like I wasn't that zaa – are you crazy?

"Well let me reintroduce myself cause that b**** you used to f*** with, she don't live here no more."

In the caption she added: "The ones that are in my DMs are the ones who rejected me in high school.

"Sorry babes, I don't make the same mistakes twice. #glowupforreal"

Followers leapt to her defense with one friend saying: "Nahhh I thought you were so pretty in high school and when we did pcs together."

Another wrote: "You were such a frickin cutie in high school I don't know what those d**** were thinking."

"Girlll who ever said that you've always been beautiful," a third commented.

In another post Nehvvie called out a fellow tiktoker saying: "How are you gonna fat shame someone then post a body positivity video??

"Your video needs to have a warning saying, 'Warning, this beautiful message only applies to those who were born skinny. #fatphobiaisnotcute #bullyingisnotright"

As trolls continue to target Nehvvie over her size, in one situation the tiktoker stood up for herself and it led to the troll deleting their entire account on the platform.

Now she is in her early twenties, the content creator has learned to embrace her body shape and encourage others to do the same.
