WHEN Charlotte Deering started planning her wedding day, she dreamed of tying the knot in an Alice in Wonderland-themed soirée.
But the 27-year-old and her now-husband Caine, 26, who believe it's 'ridiculous' to spend thousands on a wedding day decided to get creative.
The pair, who live a 'frugal life' and try to spend as little money as possible stunned everyone when they pulled off the wedding day with just £2,000.
The childhood sweethearts put together their money-saving tricks and managed to pull the day off with some savvy bargain finds, including Charlotte's dress which she bagged for £10 in Tesco.
“I wanted to do it as cheaply as possible and I scoured everywhere for the best deals,” Charlotte, from Cheshire, told NeedToKnow.co.uk.
“I love to be frugal and show people that you don’t need to spend thousands to have what you like – with a little extra work, it’ll come together without the huge price tag.
