A HOMEMAKER has shared her chic hack to cover up tech pieces that ruin the vibe in your home.
Content creator Sharon lives in a council house but has used her creative eye and DIY skills to make it look like a showhome.
It includes paneling on the walls and restoring her stairs from old carpet to a modern wooden design.
The mum-of-four’s latest DIY creation is a WiFi box cover that doesn't affect the router's connectivity.
The cream and elegant style of the family home means plastic tech devices like WiFi boxes don't fit in.
Sharon shared on Tik Tok how she created an aesthetic cover to hide it.

When finished, the homemaker placed it in front of the WiFi box.

Thanks to the holes in the webbing, she is still able to see the box's light in case it starts flashing or goes off when connection drops.
Sharon promised her design doesn’t affect the connectivity of the box and her broadband is still quick.
People questioned why she didn’t just put a picture frame there instead, to which Sharon comically replied: “Could have but that’s too boring.”
Others in the comments weren’t so sure on the idea.
One critic said: “What was the point in that?
"You may as well just put an actual picture in front of the router because it won’t even affect signal. Pointless craft.”
Another weighed in: “I've more to worry about than my WiFi box being visible. God forbid.”
However, other homemakers jumped to Sharon’s defence to praise the idea as “cute” and “fun”.
