WITH mortgage rates rising and the cost-of-living crisis putting a huge strain on many, the thought of buying a home for first time buyers is a very daunting prospect.
But one couple, known on TikTok as @fifth_wheel_living, revealed that they bought an RV – a recreational vehicle, that includes living quarters designed for accommodation.
The couple, Kirs and Devin, are “financially free” and live full-time in their home on wheels, their RV.
The pair have amassed an impressive 409k followers and 8.3million likes on the video sharing platform, where they regularly give their loyal followers an insight into what it’s really like living on the road.
In one video, Kirs revealed the top five reasons why she moved into a camper full-time.

“With all of my bills combined I am paying ⅓ of what I would be in apartment rent alone.

“My bills are so low because of RV life, I won't be surprised if it becomes illegal to live in one.”
In another clip, Kirs responded to a comment she often receives, that read: “I could never live in an RV, because the kitchens are too small.”
Kirs then showed off her particularly large kitchen, complete with a big fridge and a stunning island.
It is a very modern design and has lots of cupboard space.
Kirs responded: “You’ve just never been in the right RV. There are plenty with huge kitchens.”
TikTok users were left stunned at the size of Kirs’ kitchen, with many that live in homes, claiming that it is bigger than theirs.
One person said: “Okay so it’s bigger than my house kitchen” to which Kirs replied “I get this a lot.”
Another added: “Bigger then mine lmao, I would love an island.”
