CHEAPER price tags, less hassle, more gems to pick from – online shopping is overall a much better experience.
Well, for the most part.
One downside of finding your garments online is that, unlike in a physical store, you can't really see what you're about to buy or what the top would look like on.
That's exactly what happened to Melanie Wilmouth, from Arizona, when she went on a little spree.
With the flared jeans making a comeback earlier this year, the personal trainer decided the trendy 70's inspired trousers would make a good addition to her style.

Of all the online apparel retailers, the Chinese fast-fashion firm, Shein, undoubtedly offers one of the largest arrays of clothing and accessories, with hundreds of new lines added each day.
After scrolling through the seemingly endless options, Melanie found her perfect pair of jeans and placed the order.
What she had in mind when clicking ''Pay'' was she'd wake up a few days later with the delivery guy handing her a pair of light blue, high-wasted jeans with a bit of scrunch at the bottom.
Well, Shein must've had a lot of extra jean material left over because Melanie's new trousers would only fit someone who's well over 6ft.
She then posted a photo of what the 'trendy' jeans looked like on her – the extra cloth gave her humongous penguin flippers.
Unhappy with her purchase, she wrote: ''Shein, count your days!''
But her viewers were quick to point out the mistake she had made: ''Girl, pull the pants up and it'll literally be the picture.''
''So we all agree it's her and not the pants,'' one added.
A fellow fashionista seemed puzzled why Melania had picked these trousers in the first place: ''I want to know why of allll the pants u saw these and said yup that's the one?''
''Ur first mistake was thinking these pants were cute,'' another agreed.
Like these fashion fails as much as we do? The worst clothing fails EVER, including a skirt with an unfortunate pattern and a pink dress with a rude-looking frill.
