I transformed my cheap IKEA table into a £1000 marble dupe – and it only cost me £20

A SAVVY whizz has revealed how turned a plain IKEA table into an expensive marble dupe spending less than £30.

Shayna Alnwick, who quit her waitress job and now earns thousands by stunning furniture transformations, shared the video on Instagram.

The American, who now lives in the UK, had had her eyes on a marble table for a while – but instead of spending almost a grand, the crafty DIY guru decided to make her own using a cheap IKEA table that she had thrifted before.

In the short video, which has over 85 thousand likes, Shayna demonstrated the easy process, which took a little over an hour.

According to her, all she needed to do was wrap some marble contact paper on four sheets of MDF board (medium density fibreboard) and do the same with the LACK table.
