I work as a Premier Inn housekeeper – the eight grossest things I’ve seen in my job, and my biggest pet peeve of all | The Sun

A WOMAN who works as a Premier Inn housekeeper has revealed the eight grossest things she's seen in her job.

Stevie shared the situations she encounters on a daily basis, while explaining her biggest pet peeve of all, in a video on her TikTok page.

"Eight facts that really get my back up about working as a Premier Inn housekeeper," she began.

The first item on the list, those who shave their "private bits over the toilet".

"At least wipe it up after yourself!" she added.

"Who really sits on a toilet and shaves their bits and pieces? Why not do that in the bath where you can rinse it down!"

Stevie went on to slam those who defecate in the bed, and men who leave "used condoms chucked about the bedroom, when we provide bins in the bathroom and in the bedroom".

"Throwing up all over the floor, around the toilet, instead of in the toilet," was the fourth point on her list.

"Don't make sense!"

She's also not a fan of the guests that shave themselves in the bath and leave hair everywhere instead of rinsing it down.

Those who seem to miss the toilet when going also get her goat, as Stevie remarked: "Seriously, I really don't get some people!"

She then went on to reveal "the one that gets me the most".

"If you see a housekeeper's trolley outside the room, they are cleaning," she said.

"Please don't go and help yourself to the stuff on their trolley.

"They have only a numbered amount of things on their trolley for their rooms.

"So therefore, you've messed up their whole routine and stuff.

"If you need anything… reception always say to you, 'If you ever need anything, please come to reception, we'll be willing to help'.

"Therefore, leave our trollies alone."

Stevie concluded her list by slamming those who "leave your pants and knickers inside the bed".

"So when we pull back the duvet, we find your crusty knickers or pants in the bed. Jesus!" she raged.

"Just remember guys, we are here to clean, so after you've finished in a hotel room, please pick up after yourself, even if it's a little bit," she said.

"And wipe them pubes off the damn toilet seat!"

"Facts that I hate about being a house keeper in premier inn," Stevie captioned the video.

People were quick to have their say in the comments section, with many coming from other housekeepers.

"I feel your pain! I’m a housekeeping manager. People are animals," one wrote.

"Speaking for all us housekeepers I feel ya lol," another agreed.

As a third commented: ""Why the hell is this the exact same at my premier inn!!"

"Literally. ppl are ANIMALS," someone else added.

While others who have stayed in hotels insisted they always try to tidy up after themselves as much as possible.

"I try my hardest to make the housekeepers job easier, strip the bed before I leave, take the rubbish out, even wipe all the sides down," one said.

"I dunno how people can leave their hotel rooms in a state. I always tidy up before I go," another agreed.

"I once threw up in my hotel bed in premier inn cos I was so drunk, I felt so bad!" a third commented.

"So I stripped the bed for them cos I did not want her to do it ahah."

Not everyone was a fan of Stevie's video though, with one writing: "They are keeping u in a job.

"If you don't like it, quit!"
