A SHOP assistant at Victoria’s Secret is keeping ahead of her bosses when it comes to dress-coding.
TikToker Sophia Vi is having some fun on her platform as she plays a cat-and-mouse game with the lingerie store.
The arrival of the general manager, however, ups the ante.
Recording her video in the bathroom, Sophia wonders if this time she will be pulled up sharp on the uniform front.
If there is a dress-code for the store, Sophia is refusing to stick to it, favoring tight, clinging, midriff-revealing clothes for her workplace.
“Actually kinda nervous cause our general manager is in today,” she says.
Her followers can’t believe she has never got dress coded before.
“A lot of you didn’t believe me that I dress like this for work and without getting dress-coded," she said.
Sophia sets herself a challenge: “So today is day one of trying to get dress-coded at work."
She describes what she is wearing, including a very pretty Victoria’s Secret’s bra.

“So, first thing, I am wearing an extremely sheer top, a blue and yellow bra that is not allowed – only black and white ones – and then I have a lot of stomach exposed, and I’m wearing my tight leggings.”
Leggings are her ‘uniform’ she admits. “I wear them all the time but technically they’re not allowed.”
However, despite her efforts, no dress coding took place. Instead, she had a very different outcome.
“Definitely did not get dress=coded," she updates her video. Everyone loved my outfit, especially my general manager. So try again??”
Comments to her post were both amused and supportive. Several Victoria’s Secret’s managers shared their insights too.
One said: “As a manager at Victoria’s Secret, I would 1000% let you wear this! Super cute girl.”
Another manager said: “The only thing I would dress code you on is the leggings. Nothing else. Wear the bra to sell it.”
There were lots of comments, however, about employees being dress coded at their work places.
“I used to work at Victoria’s Secret and I got dress coded every day,” was one comment.
It happened in other workplaces too: “I literally got dress coded at work because my shirt was tucked I and I didn’t have a belt on.”
Finally: “One time I wore a crop top and got dress coded.”
