WE SEE a lot of beauty hacks doing the rounds on TikTok, making it hard to spot which ones really work and the ones that don't.
Fortunately, beauty whizz Mireya Rios tested out one hack to banish dark undereye bags in 15 minutes – and the results prove it works.
Taking to her TikTok account @mireyarios, she stitched a video of the hack and tested it out for herself.
The hack in question?
Mixing coffee with a little water to create a paste to put under the eyes for ten minutes to get rid of dark undereye bags.
The beauty fan tweaked the recipe slightly, adding honey to mix.

Mireya said: "I'm going to be applying it to one side, leave it on for 15 minutes and then wipe it off to see if we notice an immediate effect."
After wiping the paste off, it was clear that the side she applied it to was visibly brighter, leaving Mireya and her followers impressed.
"I definitely notice a difference," she added.
"I feel like the results would get even better if you use it more consistently."

She added that many eye creams contain caffeine, so it's no wonder the hack helps brighten under the eyes.
Mireya explained: "A lot of eye creams for dark circles use caffeine because it's very anti-inflammatory and boosts circulation."
The video has since gone viral with over four million views and over 400k likes.
You can purchase Nescafe instant coffee for as little as £3 from Tesco for 100grams – Using just over a teaspoon amount of coffee for the hack will cost just 5p a time.
People quickly took to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts.
While some agreed they could see a difference, others claimed she barely had dark undereye bags to begin with.

Meanwhile, a fourth added: "Yes! I see an improvement."
