Instagram user The Board Housewife shared her simple two-ingredient mixture that will rid you home of ants.

Simply put baking soda and powdered sugar in small dishes throughout your ant-infested areas.

While ants are attracted to sugar, baking soda is toxic to them.

"The acid inside them when they eat it, and bring it back to the hill, essentially makes them explode."

The Board Housewife named this method as her "number one solution."

"I sprinkle it around my perimeters and doors along with our cups of it out around the property," she said.
