I’m a gardening pro – how I get rid of ants for free using something I’d normally throw away

ANTS are considered some of the peskiest, most annoying bugs to deal with.

They’re tiny enough to crawl around places where they don’t belong, which is why it’s important to learn how to get rid of them.

As soon as you see ants crawling around your garden, the first thing that comes to mind is how to make them disappear forever.

Bug spray serves as a great temporary fix, but sprays don’t always solve the problem permanently.

Bug sprays also often come with toxic chemicals that might be damaging to your healthy greenery.

A TikToker named London, aka @GardeningSimplified, revealed a super simple way to solve this common problem.

He explains: “You’re just going to take your orange peels and dice them up. And then slap those bad babies into a food processor."

Next, let the concoction boil for five to 10 minutes until it starts bubbling up.

You don’t have to let your concoction cool down before you start pouring it throughout your garden, according to London.

He hilariously mentions that he wants the ants to suffer because they’ve bitten up his ankles.

Oils from oranges instantly remove the wax coating that covers ants' bodies — which means this mixture will cause them to suffocate.
