A LAUNDRY expert has revealed the easy way to keep your house cool during the heatwave.
As much as we love the sun, the current heatwave has knocked all of us for six.
Fortunately, a laundry expert has revealed the surprisingly easy hack to keep your house, and yourself, cool as the temperature soars in the UK.
Deyan Dimitrov, a laundry expert at Laundry Heap revealed you can use some towels to keep the house cool, so long as you place them in the correct spot.
He revealed that you should first soak the towels in cold water.
Once done, hang the towels around entry points of the house such as windows and front and back doors.

This will help to cool down the property and make it more pleasant to be inside.
The laundry whizz told the Mirror: "The method allows trapped water to evaporate from the surface of the towels and cool the air flowing around your house.
"Since this hack can be fashioned out of existing household items, it's a cheap and useful alternative for houses that don't have access to air conditioning."
And the best part about this hack is that it's totally free as most of us have spare towels lying around at home.

“Next, draw all the curtains to stop the sunlight from flooding in.
“Lastly, open all the windows on the north side of the house, or the side of the house in the shade, to let all the cold air in.”
