LOVE Island is nearly back on our screens – but you may be able to pinpoint who could be the winner from the get-go.
An astrologist has revealed the star signs which are best-suited to villa life and are most likely to get their own way on the hit ITV show.
According to Nicolas Aujula, the top signs for Love Island successful contestants are Leo, Taurus and Scorpio – and they are best for influencing other people.
Plenty of Leo contestants have also featured on the show (10%) AND gone on to win – including Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Amber Gill, Liam Reardon and Paige Turley.
He explained: “Leo are born leaders that naturally take charge and exude confidence that makes fellow Islanders believe what they say.
“They’re commanding, charismatic, attention-seeking and polished speakers, meaning people are easily enamoured by them.”

Meanwhile, it’s no surprise then that the majority of contestants that appeared on the show over the last five years were Taurus (12%) – including Gemma Owen, Luca Bish and Tommy Fury, and last season’s champions, Kai and Sanam.
Nicolas continued: “Taurus are practical and stubborn, meaning it’s generally their way or the highway.
“As they are particularly astute when making quick-fire decisions, they’re seen as aspirational to many, and so the people around them tend to follow their lead – especially in the villa.”
This was followed by Scorpio (11%), with the likes of Lana Jenkins, Deji Adeniyi and Adam Collard.

Nicolas said it’s a fine line between charming your fellow Islanders and adopting manipulative tendencies in order to get your own way – which apparently Scorpio is prone to.
Nicolas explained: “Scorpio have a natural magnetism that draws people to them.
“Highly emotionally astute and able to read people, they’re capable of appealing to their peers’ vulnerabilities, and often play power games to get people to agree to their terms.”
Love Island success depends on whether you're coupled up throughout the show, but you also have to survive the public vote – meaning making a good impression is a huge benefit.
The insight was provided as part of Bonusetu’s study into the most influential star signs – which, interestingly enough, found that the majority of Love Island contestants over the past five years were indeed Taurus or Scorpio, whilst the fewest contestants were Aquarius.
On the other end of the scale, the zodiac signs that are less likely to succeed or even appear on the show – due to their ‘pushover’ nature – are apparently Pisces, Virgo and Gemini.
Meanwhile, Nicolas reckons Libra and Capricorn will change their mind if they feel they’ll be more likeable as a result – suggesting they’re the most likely to play games in the villa.
Some signs are particularly adept at influencing others in specific situations, as Nicolas says Libra is best at picking out fashion or beauty products – meaning those contestants are more likely to secure a big brand deal after departing from the show.
This year’s summer series of Love Island will begin on Monday June 5.

Maya Jama, 28, will be returning as host following her huge success on the winter version of the show.
This year’s intake of lovelorn singles will be flown out to Majorca next month and the winners will be staying in the luxurious villa for two whole months.
