MEGHAN Markle could relaunch her lifestyle blog The Tig to rival Gwyneth’s Paltrow’s Goop a royal expert has predicted.
Myka Meier claims that the Duchess of Sussex’s personal blog could receive something of a resurgence following her move back to LA with Prince Harry and 11-month-old Archie.
The Tig was closed down in April 2017 shortly after rumours of Meghan’s romance with Prince Harry emerged and ahead of their engagement in November that year.
But speaking on the podcast Royally Obsessed, expert Myka Meier said of a relaunch that she “really thinks that’s coming.”
Speaking on the podcast she said: “I think Meghan is going to have another Instagram.
“I think she's going to do a Goop, like a new version of The Tig.”
Myka added that the Duchess may already have something underway.
She added: “I have a friend with a little bit of insider knowledge, and I think she's already working on something.
“I think we will be seeing something very interesting and creative with masterminds from all over the world coming together to bring something inspiring soon.”
In September, The Sun's Dan Wootton exclusively revealed that Meghan Markle's business manager Andrew Meyer had renewed the trademark to keep the rights to The Tig's name.
A palace spokesperson told People magazine: "The lasting trademark is to prevent false branding, to avoid others purporting to be the Duchess or affiliated with her."
Before she married into the Royal Family, the former Suits actress used her lifestyle blog to document her love of fashion, food and travel.
The Duchess' farewell letter to The Tig is still live on the homepage, in which she thanks her readers for following her "passion project" for three years.
According to the website's "about" page, the name "The Tig" was inspired by Meghan's favourite Italian wine Tignanello.
Meghan also closed her personal Instagram page in 2018- just a few weeks after her engagement to Prince Harry was announced – leading way for the couple's @SussexRoyal account.
In other royal news, Meghan and Harry's bombshell book "Finding Freedom" will reveal their "true story."
And we shared how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been eying up £10million LA mansion with ‘granny annexe’ flat for mum Doria.
Plus, since moving from Canada to the US, the couple have been renting a home close to Sir Elton John.
