NEWS OF Megxit rocked the royal family earlier this month – so it is understandable that it remains a touchy subject for certain members.
Mike Tindall described the topic as a "no-go area" when he was asked about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's departure for Canada.
During the latest episode of Joe's House of Rugby podcast – which was recorded after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were "stepping back" as senior royals – the husband of Zara Phillips, 38, was asked about the drama.
Mike, 41, referred to his recent holiday to Australia with his wife and two daughters.
However, the conversation suddenly cooled when host Alex Payne joked that it wasn't an ideal time to be on a break to the other side of the world since there was a "lot going on in The Firm" back in the UK.
The ex-rugby star replied: "Let's not talk about that."
Alex asked Mike if he and co-host James Haskell – who is a good friend of Harry's – had been in touch with the duke, 35, before he flew to Vancouver.
James, 34, said: "Yes, I have."
Mike insisted that the topic is a "no-go area" and that he "doesn't know anything about it".
However, his pal – who is married to Chloe Madeley – was more open, adding: "I don't know anything about it either.
"I don't know anymore than you know. I think it must be very traumatic and difficult.
"I have sent my regards. That's the extent of it."
Mike and Zara, as well as James and Chloe, attended Meghan, 38, and Harry's 2018 royal wedding.
It comes as Mike's other half Zara was banned this month from driving for six months after she was caught speeding at 91mph.

We also revealed how "to Meghan Markle" is now a verb which means "to value yourself" and "leave situations".
