Most popular baby names of 2021 revealed… but did your little one’s moniker make the list?

CHOOSING a name for a baby is one of the most important tasks parents will undertake.

But to perhaps help out anyone considering monikers for their little ones, a new survey has released the most popular baby names of 2021.

For boys, Muhammad and Noah are top of the list, while Oliver, George and Leo round out the top five.

Theo, Freddie, Harry, Jack and Arthur also made the top 10, while more unusual inclusions on the list included Jaxon – at number 25 – and Reuben at 34.

On the girls' list, Olivia, Sophia and Lily were the top three names, while Amelia and Ava completed the top five.

Mia, Isla, Freya, Ella and Rosie also made it into the top 10, while the top 20 also featured monikers such as Isabella (15), Poppy (16) and Willow (20).

The effect of the royal family's choice of names for their offspring could also be seen in the lists, with George at number four, and Louie – a different spelling of Louis – at 27.

Charlotte – the third of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children to make the name list – is at 34 in the girls' list.
