Kate Middleton and Prince William will both attend the Easter Sunday service today along with their children Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four. The Princess of Wales has often worn the same colour for the religious ceremony at Windsor Castle in the past.
On a royal tour to Australia and New Zealand in 2014, Kate wore a light blue funnel neck coat by Alexander McQueen.
The coat was very similar to a previous season coat by Alexander McQueen, which sold for £1,693.
Kate also wore a bespoke hat from Jane Taylor Millinery for the 2014 Easter service.
The Princess could be seen wearing complementary grey accessories. These included her grey suede Alexander McQueen clutch bag (without the skull clasp) and her L.K. Bennett Harper pumps.
Later in 2019, Kate re-wore this Alexander McQueen coat for the Easter Sunday service at Windsor Castle.
For footwear, she wore her Emmy London “Rebecca” shoes and could be seen carrying her Emmy London “Natasha” clutch bag.
To accessorise, Kate opted to wear her Robinson Pelham earrings.
There were no Easter Sunday services during 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But Kate certainly did not disappoint in 2022. The Princess again chose the colour blue, but this time wore an Emilia Wickstead dress.
The piece featured long sleeves, a waistband, a peak lapel and a full skirt with large soft pleats.
Kate had worn this coat before, deciding to wear the garment on a royal tour to Luxembourg in 2017.
Princess Charlotte even coordinated with her mother and chose a blue floral dress by Rachael Riley, plus a navy cardigan and tights.
However, Kate has not always worn blue to the Easter Sunday service.
In 2017, the Princess stepped out wearing a cream Catherine Walker bespoke coat that she had first worn the year before.
Kate also opted to wear a Whistles “Lina Dobby” pleat skirt that she first wore in Los Angeles back in 2011.
To accessorise, she carried a clutch by Etui Bags, wore her Rupert Sanderson Malory pumps in nude, her Lock & Co. Jacqueline hat, and earrings on loan from late the Queen.
Finally in 2018, whilst pregnant with Prince Louis, the Princess wore a brown Catherine Walker dress that she first wore back in 2015.
She also wore a Betty Boop Hat in Brown by Lock & Co and nude suede shoes by Gianvito Rossi.
The Princess could be seen carrying her nude Lizard-print clutch by Loeffler-Randall.
In addition, Kate decided to wear a pair of pearl earrings by Balenciaga.
