SHOPPERS think they have found the ultimate pre-lit Christmas tree – and it might save you ages on wrapping fairy lights round.
Asda’s Green 7ft Flocked Pre-Lit Christmas Tree is mains powered with a whopping 200 lights already inside the branches.
And priced at £100, shoppers have dubbed it the ultimate Christmas investment.
“I purchased it last year and I absolutely love it,” Coral Blackwell said.
“Best bit? No need to circle around a tree putting lights on anymore.”
“I bought mine a few days ago also and I’m over the moon,” Maia Powell added.

“I spent ages looking online searching reviews of trees.
“Everyone pointed at this Asda tree and luckily I managed to get my hands on one.”
For one foot shorter, you can get the Green 6ft Eliza Flocked Pre Lit Christmas Tree for £60, or the Green & White Snowy Pre-lit Pop-Up Christmas Tree that’s £35 at 5ft tall.
If you don’t have room for a tall tree, Asda is also selling a mini version of the Pre-Lit Snowy Christmas Tree at 3ft for £20.

Without pre-lighting and slimmer, there’s the Green 6ft Unlit Slim Snowy Christmas Tree for £30.
Asda is also flogging a number of mini Christmas trees.
For £8 you can get the Green 2ft Pre Lit Fir Christmas Tree, Green 2ft Flocked Fir Christmas Tree and 3ft Pre-Lit Christmas Tree in blue or pink.
Coral shared her sparkling tree in Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
Other shoppers flocked to her post to share that they “purchased the same tree three years ago”.
Lindsay Holland said it was the “best tree she’s ever bought”.
“I have the Asda 6ft pre-lit tree and love the fact I can get it out the box and no fiddling with bloody lights,” Susan Lancley added.
To decorate your new tree, George at Asda has a number of funky decorations, from disco balls to candy canes to gingerbread men.

Earlier this month, Christmas fans were going wild for the supermarket’s disco-themed decorations – complete with mirrored Santa Clauses and silver polar bears.
For the tree, there’s 50p silver star ornaments, £4 disco mushrooms and four packs of Disco Ball Christmas Baubles for £8, both in silver and gold.
