Greggs confirms return date for Festive Bake – and it's very soon

Christmas is creeping up on us.

And the festive season wouldn’t be complete without some of our annual foodie favourites – including the Greggs Festive Bake.

The good news is that pastry fans can get their mitts on the seasonal treat sooner than they might think.

Greggs has announced the Festive Bake will be available from next week, on Thursday November 10.

Those who want to skip the queues can even reserve their Festive Bake by ordering ahead via Click+Collect on the Greggs app.

The popular Christmassy bake contains chicken, sage and onion stuffing and bacon, as well as a creamy sage and cranberry sauce – all baked inside a crumb-topped pastry.

But last year Greggs also introduced a vegan version, using Quorn chicken and bacon, after seeing a roaring success with its plant-based versions on other classics.

As a result, we’re assuming this festive vegan counterpart will also be available from next week, too.

Now November is in full swing, other places are also unveiling their Christmas offering for this year.

Pret has launched a new festive menu with a praline latte and Boxing Day toastie.

Also, Quality Street has announced the return of a discontinued chocolate, while Celebrations is offering Bounty-free tubs for the first time – music to the ears of many chocolate lovers across the country.
