Greggs is the largest bakery chain in the UK, famed for its sausage rolls and sweet treats like sugar-glazed Yum Yums. While its prices are often lower than other retailers, one TikTok user has discovered an even cheaper way to enjoy its most popular baked goods. Taking to the site, Myles Omar shared his impressive food haul from a Greggs outlet shop.
Myles recently shared his bargain buys with followers on TikTok in a short video to document his tasty Greggs food haul.
He explained that he secured the discounted products, which included multiple packs of Yum Yums, at an outlet store for the high-street bakery.
Bread rolls, glazed doughnuts, and pasties were also in the bag, which the Scottish food-lover has purchased from a store in Trongate, Glasgow.
The social media user revealed that the impressive collection of food came to a total of just £4.33.
Pulling out the items from the bag, Myles showed off his sweet and savoury treats.
His haul included:
- Two cheese and onion pasties
- Corn-topped bread rolls
- Three packets of Yum Yums (two per pack)
- Pink glazed doughnuts
For context, one cheese and onion bake alone costs £1.85, while one Yum Yum costs 85p in standard Greggs stores.

Myles’ local store is not the only one of its kind. In fact, the bakery chain has several dotted across the UK.
Of the 2,000 Greggs stores that currently exist in England, Scotland and Wales, 30 operate as discounted outlets.
These stores sell fan-favourite items, such as sausage rolls and steak bakes, for up to 75 percent less than in standard shops.
Offering lower prices for its baked goods is the main premise of the stores, but they are also very sustainable.
The low-waste outlets sell off unsold items that are one day old – but still perfectly safe to eat.
With the average price of the famous Greggs sausage roll now at £1.20, the discounted stores were opened to support customers in socially deprived areas.
One of the newest branches opened in December 2022 and can be found in Newham, East London.
Stock is delivered by nearby factories that have made too many batches of staple items, in addition to surplus goods from standard Greggs stores.
According to National World, some of the profits of each outlet go to The Greggs Foundation and are given to local community groups.
The high-street chain’s chief executive Roisin Currie said: “As a leading food-on-the-go retailer in the UK, it’s important that we do our bit to put an end to food waste and help to tackle poverty, hunger and deprivation across all the communities we operate in.
“We have three channels for giving good food a second chance – we donate it to charities who can make use of it. We offer it to our customers at a discount via the Too Good To Go app and we sell it at a discount through our outlet shops.”
More outlet stores are expected to be opened in the near future, with a target of 50 in the UK by 2025.
