How to make air-fried Creme Egg croissant balls

Combine Creme Eggs and croissants and you might just have one of the most delicious breakfast treats

Easter is around the corner, so Creme Eggs are back on the market.

Rather than wolf down your next packet, save some for this recipe.

The Instagram account @boredoflunch wrote: ‘Only two ingredients to make these and they’re unbelievable.

‘Wrap cream eggs in @jus_rol croissant and pop in the oven or Airfryer.

‘I Airfried mine for 8 mins at 170.’

Each portion comes in at just 386 calories, making it a slightly less indulgent treat than you might first expect.

It couldn’t be simpler to roll the pastry around the Creme Egg, so you’re left with a ball shape.

Then all you have to do is put them in an air fryer.

For a finishing touch, you could glaze the pastry with a beaten egg before frying, but that’s not essential.
