M&S announces strict rules for clothes shoppers for when it reopens
Some people have been struggling to safely get to the supermarket during the coronavirus crisis.
To help, supermarkets including M&S have launched food boxes full of essential items.
Marks and Spencer has released boxes to be ordered online with price tags ranging from £15 to £45.
These include a Seasonal Fruit Box, the Vegetable & Salad Food Box, the Indian Takeaway Big Night In Food Box and the Traditional Meals Food Box.
After selling out, the essential food boxes have now been brought back with an updated product list.
What do you get?
The boxes contain a list of cupboard staples and treats to feed shoppers at home.
Describing the standard box, the M&S website said: “Our new and improved essentials box is filled with store cupboard essentials, including tinned fish and meat, rice, pasta and more.
“Plus, there’s Percy Pig treats and chocolate digestives for the whole family to enjoy.”
The vegetarian box contains similar items with more meat-free options.
As well as updating the contents, the boxes have been given a new affordable price tag.
The standard box is on sale for £28, was £35, and the vegetarian box can be picked up for £23, was £30.

Customers can order a box online with contact-free nominated day delivery for £4.99.
The retailer has also launched a food box for those with a gluten allergy or intolerance.
The Made Without Wheat Food Box can be bought online and costs £25.
It contains gluten free essential products to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Shoppers can order up to two of any box at one time.
