Change is in the air at McDonald’s as the fast food chain has announced a menu shake-up.
As of next week, customers can expect a brand new addition to the menu – offering a twist on a current burger.
The new Spicy Big Tasty, available from May 10, will combine the classic Big Tasty burger with an added fiery kick.
It will consist of a 100% beef patty, as well as Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon and tomato alongside Big Tasty sauce – which has been switched up with the addition of jalapeno.
For those less fussed about spice, the Big Tasty and the Big Tasty with Bacon will also be making a comeback.
However, these aren’t the only goodies returning to the menu. The crispy Halloumi Fries are also back with a bang – much to the delight of Maccies fans who have been calling for them to be reinstated for a while.
One person wrote on Twitter last autumn: ‘McDonald’s should bring back the Halloumi Fries and keep them on the menu.’
While earlier this year another said: ‘Here I am manifesting that McDonald’s will bring back Halloumi Fries this summer and make all my dreams come true.’
Although, not everyone will be happy about the return of the cheesy chips.
One person previously wrote on Twitter: ‘The halloumi fries from McDonald’s are so unbelievably disgusting I want a personal apology from Ronald.’
Customers can also snap up four new limited edition dips this month – including garlic mayo, mega hot sauce, chipotle mayo and a creamy ranch dip.
But you’d better hurry, as they are only available ‘while stocks last’.
