McDonald’s menu has changed drastically since the American restaurant chain first came to the UK decades ago, with new additions like the vegan wrap and mozzarella dippers having appeared in recent years. However, McDonald’s also removes items from its menu from time to time, much to fans’ disappointment.
From next Tuesday, June 15, five popular items will no longer be available on the McDonald’s menu.
These include two burgers and two McFlurry flavours.
The fifth item to be axed is the popular Cheese and Herb melts.
The burgers vanishing from the menu are the Bacon Clubhouse Double and the Chicken Deluxe.
The Bacon Clubhouse Double is comprised of two 100 percent beef patties, two rashers of Beechwood smoke bacon, a slice of cheddar cheese, onions, a slice of tomato, lettuce, and McDonald’s special sauce.
McDonald’s Chicken Deluxe features the restaurant chain’s popular Chicken Selects.
The sandwich consists of two tender Chicken Selects layered with creamy Emmental cheese and topped with a zesty tomato relish and cool mayo.
Sadly, McDonald’s fans could see all Chicken Selects vanish from the fast-food chain’s menu in the coming days.

This is due to a nationwide shortage of the item.
The Chicken Deluxe, Chicken Selects, and the Big Flavour Wraps are already unavailable at all McDonald’s chains across the country.
Although McDonald’s has said it is working hard to get the Chicken Selects and wraps back on its menu soon, the Chicken Deluxe will not be reappearing.
A McDonald’s spokesperson commented on the Chicken Selects shortage supply, saying: “We are working incredibly hard to get this popular menu item back on sale in our restaurants.
“We know some customers will be disappointed to hear this news, and we would like to apologise for the short-term inconvenience.”
As for the McFlurry flavours getting axed from the menu next week, they are the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry.
The five items to be removed were introduced for a limited six-week period last month, on May 5.
However, McDonald’s often rotates its menu, therefore the items could reappear later in the year.
When the fast-food chain gets rid of menu items, it usually reintroduces new ones.
But it is not yet known which new products will be available at McDonald’s from next week.
In other McDonald’s news, the brand is currently offering customers £5 off on orders over £15.
Additionally, from tomorrow, June 14, customers will be able to buy a McChicken Sandwich for only 99p.
On Tuesday, the restaurant chain is offering fans 30 percent off its entire menu.
